BCCA Supported COVID-19 Vaccine Related Myocarditis Audit Proposal

Please find below a provisional version of the BCCA supported COVID-19 vaccine related myocarditis audit proposal.  This provides a proposal for standard case definition and investigation of suspected cases. We are hoping that NCHDA/HQIP will be able to support this audit. The initial data collection would be covered within the scope of the NCHDA approvals.  If accepted as a national audit additional approval will be sought from the Health Research Authority and Research Ethics Committees for the remainder of the study protocol. Whilst approval is awaited we would be grateful if units are able to keep a track of potential cases as part of local audit.
