The culmination to the cardiovascular year will review the biggest and most relevant topics of the past 12 months. This year the course will follow a revised format for virtual delivery but will remain a must-attend for consultants and cardiology trainees who wish to keep up to date on advances in cardiology. There will also be a live Q&A session posing questions to the expert panel.
This course is accredited by EBAC (European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology) and CPD approved (through the Royal College of Physicians) for 6 CME or 6 CPD points respectively.

Consultant Cardiologist Adult Congenital Heart Disease
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
We seek a specialist ACHD consultant colleague to join the team in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital level two specialist ACHD centre, providing care to a population of approximately 1.4m across Norfolk and Suffolk. There are currently >2500 adults with congenital heart disease under our care.
The ACHD service lies within the adult cardiology department of a 1,200 bedded multidisciplinary teaching hospital with the full range of medical, surgical, obstetric and diagnostic services on site including 24/7 interventional radiology and thoracic surgical cover. The cardiology department includes 23 consultants with other specialist interests including coronary disease and intervention, cardiac rhythm management, cardiac imaging, valve disease, heart failure and inherited cardiac conditions (ICC). Four academic consultants have joint appointments with the University of East Anglia Medical School.
This post is a replacement for a senior colleague who plans to retire in 2021 and will support the further development of the service, working within a multidisciplinary team.

State of the heart in Fetal Cardiology - Virtual course every two weeks starts on Wednesday 27 January 2021, 6.30pm-8.00pm GMT
This
course covers essential areas of practice and is intended for all those involved in ultrasound scanning of the fetal heart and is suitable for sonographers, obstetricians, radiologists and cardiologists. The content will be presented live by the experienced fetal cardiology faculty from the Evelina London Children's Hospital and King's College Hospital London to allow interaction with the speakers.
Fee: 200 Euros including VAT, for 8 online sessions. Numbers will be limited to 200 participants. All delegates will get online access to course content for 2 months and receive a certificate of attendance.
